The Dutch composer Ad Wammes (1953) has caused some Sesame Street series the music composed. Today, he focuses more on concert music.
One of his famous works, Miroir, yesterday was performed by Patricia Ott during the final concert of Gregorian chant choir school of the male choir of Zurich, led by Christoph Cajöri.
The right hand plays in all 140 cycles, the same pattern. The left hand and pedals add to the little interjections and melodic fragments. The floating meditative and hypnotic sound has on the listener.
